WORLD BANK WILL ‘COLLECT DATA’ TO END POVERTY

As of 2012, there were more than 1 billion hungry people in the world, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN.

Narrowed down, 642 million people are starving in Asia/Pacific; 265 million in Sub-Saharan Africa; 53 million in Latin America/Caribbean; 42 million in Mideast/North Africa; 15 million in other developed countries.
